SENECA COUNTY, OH —Republican write-in candidate Bill Reineke reported this week that his campaign successfully raised over $59,000. This remarkable number comes less than two months after Reineke announced his candidacy to become the next State Representative from the 88th House District. According to the pre-primary report submitted to the Secretary of State, Reineke raised $59,110 from 115 donors. The immense support from people across the district and the state is a testament to the appeal of his pro-jobs message and his overall strength as a candidate.

“I am humbled by the support I have received from people across the state.  It is evident that our message of economic development and strong leadership is resonating with voters across the district.  Over the next few weeks, I look forward to continuing to meet with residents of the 88th district, to hear their hopes and concerns so I can bring them to Columbus in November,” Reineke stated.

Reineke is a native of Fostoria, and has resided for the last 33 years in Tiffin.  He is an active member of the Tiffin community, serving on the Tiffin Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, Heidelberg University Board of Trustees, and Past President of the Tiffin Rotary Club. He is also a Past President of the Ohio Auto Dealers Association, and currently serves on the National Auto Dealers Association Board of Directors. He is a partner with his brothers in the Reineke Family Dealerships, which have 8 dealerships across Northwest Ohio.

The primary election is being held on May 6th.
